Martin Jacobsen, nato a Copenaghen, ha considerato Parigi la sua base dal 1995 prima di dividere il suo tempo tra l’Italia e la Corea del Sud dal 2016.
Il suo ultimo disco su SteepleChase Records “Straight Off” (2021) ha confermato la sua posizione tra i più notevoli sassofonisti europei di oggi.
Jacobsen torna al Charity Café per la prima volta dal 2008 insieme ad un trio ben rodato composto da Paolo Casadio alla chitarra, Igor Legari al contrabbasso e Andrea Nunzi alla batteria.
